Instant wins
Staging 26 Oct 00:08 — Instant Win
The prize map was locked before the randomness that shaped it existed.
Not our clock on either side: the left is an external timestamping authority, and the right is drand's own fixed schedule, which anyone can compute from public parameters.
What you can check right now
| Your prize is on the public record | Every instant prize awarded so far appears on the live entry list next to the ticket that won it. Search for your ticket number or your entry reference. That list is what gets fingerprinted when entries close. |
|---|---|
| The prize map cannot be changed | Its fingerprint was published and timestamped by an outside authority before the first ticket was sold. Any change to which tickets carry prizes would produce a different fingerprint from the one already signed. |
| Nobody here chose your ticket number | Ticket numbers come from a shuffled sequence committed at the same moment, so a prize cannot be steered to a particular person — not by us, and not by you. |
What you can check once entries close
Not yet revealed The secret that generates the prize map is withheld until entries close.
This is the honest limitation, so it is worth being plain about it. Right now you cannot recompute your own prize, because doing so needs that secret. We are not withholding it out of caution: if it were public while the competition is open, anyone could work out how many prizes are left in the tickets still unsold and time their entries to suit. That would be unfair to everybody who entered earlier.
Once entries close, the secret is published here. At that point anyone — you, a journalist, an auditor — can regenerate the full map from secret ‖ randomness, check it against the fingerprint that was timestamped before the competition opened, and confirm every prize awarded was the prize that map says.

Prizes in this competition
| Prize | Value | In the pool | Awarded so far |

Awarded counts are published while the competition is open because those prizes are already spent. Which unissued tickets carry a prize stays hidden — and would not help you anyway, since ticket numbers are issued in a committed order that nobody can choose from.
